It's turned out so awesome; every essay is better than the last.
I haven't had time to read all the articles yet, but the ones I have read take advantage of the multimedia possibilities of publishing online, which I'm loving a lot. There are songvids and screencaps and an audio feature. Plus you can leave comments on the essays, which I'm hoping leads to some meaty discussion once people get to grips with it.
There's also the Symposium section, which is the meta by fans about fandom, and it fits in really well with the more formal sections of the journal.
It would be neat to include some reviews here, but it's 3:30am and waaaay past my bedtime, so I'll make that a separate post.
But the important thing is that the essays are there, they are by us and about us, and they are cool. Go and have a read!
